    Description

    C.G. Akam was a competitor in the late 1800's. He manufactured Billiard Tables, as well as Sewing machines and other wood household items. I apologize that the quality of the 1-5/8" x 5/8" name plate photos are not the best. . It is made of a tin alloy and very easy to bend.  It reads' PATD  Jan. 1879 C.G. Akam Chicago, ILL.'
    This 140 year old trade card is in good condition for its age. There is a #48 in the lower left corner. Not certain as to what that pertains to.
    The 2-1/2" x 4" card will be sent in a hard plastic sleeve.
